The World Economic Forum has recently added 11 new factories and industrial sites to its Global Lighthouse Network – a group of over 100 manufacturers that are leaders in implementing Industry 4.0 technologies and best practice in advance manufacturing.
The newly recognised sites include Agilent Technologies (in Singapore), CATL (in Yibin, China), Cipla (in Indore, India), Danone (in Opole, Poland), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (in Hyderabad, India), Flex (in Sorocaba, Brazil), Haier (in Qingdao, China), Midea (in Shunde, China), Mondelēz (in Sri City, India), Sany Heavy Industry (in Changsha, China) and Western Digital (in Shanghai, China).
They note that several of these companies have been successful in implementing large scale digital transformations across up to 20-40 sites in parallel.
